Discovery Air announces new director
David Taylor, the Chairman of Discovery Air Inc. is pleased to announce that Mr. Gil Bennett has agreed to join the Board of Directors of Discovery Air and will act in the capacity of Vice-Chairman.

David Taylor, the Chairman of Discovery Air Inc. is pleased to announce that Mr. Gil Bennett has agreed to join the Board of Directors of Discovery Air and will act in the capacity of Vice-Chairman.

"Gil comes to Discovery Air with a wealth of experience, particularly in the area of corporate governance, a topic on which he lectures at the Directors College. We look forward to the contribution of his substantial expertise." said Mr. Taylor. Mr. Bennett has served as a director, C.E.O. and senior officer of many Canadian public and private companies, including Canadair Limited, de Havilland Inc., Air Nova Inc. and NAV CANADA. Mr. Bennett has also acted as Board Chairman of Canadian Tire Corporation, Limited, Fortis Ontario Inc., Encal Energy Ltd. and Ontario Casino Corporation.
To provide room for Mr. Bennett to join Discovery Air's Board, Mr. Alex Arychuk retired from the Board.

Mr. Taylor stated "We thank Alex for his service on the Board of Discovery Air and look forward to his continued valuable contributions as the President of Air Tindi Ltd., one of Discovery Air's significant operating subsidiaries."
Discovery Air is continuing to execute its stated goal of increasing independence on the Board in conjunction with reducing the number of directors who also serve on the Board of Pacific & Western Credit Corp.
