Embraer adds INGENIO tablet arms as option for Praetor
December 7, 2020 By Wings Staff
Embraer is making INGENIO Aerospace products available as optional features on the new Praetor 500 and Praetor 600 aircraft. Founded in 2013, Montreal-based INGENIO develops, designs, builds and certifies technologies for aircraft cabins and cockpits – with the goal of reinventing the in-flight experience.
Embraer is now deploying INGENIO’s plug-and-play cabin tablet arms to complement the Embraer DNA cabin interior newly developed for the Praetor 500 and 600 models. Designed to be compact and lightweight, INGENIO explains its cabin tablet arms provide convenient housing for personal electronic devices (PEDs) in-flight.
“We are proud to be working with Embraer, one of business aviation’s top OEMs,” said James Bell, President and CEO, INGENIO Aerospace. “Our units blend form, function and elegance to complement Embraer cabin interiors and give passengers easy access to their handheld device of choice. We would like to welcome new Embraer clients and invite owners of in-service models to contact their authorized dealer or service center to see how we can help enrich their in-flight experience.”
In addition to providing Embraer Praetor customers with the option to install INGENIO cabin tablet arms on new aircraft, the technology can also be retrofitted into in-service aircraft models. INGENIO has developed more than 50 aircraft cockpit and cabin solutions since 2013.
