ECTS, a joint venture of Embraer and CAE, will install a CAE 5000 Series Level D full-flight simulator (FFS) in the Sao Paulo area of Brazil. The Phenom 100/300 FFS will be ready for training in 2012. This is the first FFS sale announced by CAE for the new fiscal year which began in April.

ECTS currently operates training programs for the Phenom 100 in Dallas and Burgess Hill, UK, near London, and for the Phenom 300 in Dallas, Texas, USA. This will be the fourth Phenom FFS.

"This new location reflects the growing number of Phenom operators in South America and their desire for a simulation-based training solution closer to home," said Roland Desjardins, ECTS General Manager. "One of the hallmarks of the Phenom training program since its inception in 2009 is a highly personalized level of training service with convenient access for our aircraft operators worldwide."

The specific training location for Phenom operators will be announced in the future.
