Embraer delivers first U.S.-made Phenom 100

Dec. 23, 2011, Melbourne, Fla. – Embraer has delivered the first entry level Phenom 100 jet produced in its new U.S. assembly plant to longtime customer Executive AirShare during a ceremony held in Melbourne, Fla.

“Handing over an aircraft to an owner is a moment of great pride for a manufacturer,” said Robert Knebel, vice president, Sales for North America, Embraer Executive Jets. “Delivering this first US-made Phenom 100 to Executive AirShare, our first US customer, takes the celebration to a whole new level.”

“After the very successful first flight of the Phenom 100, two weeks ago, the on-schedule delivery of this aircraft celebrates the outstanding skills of the Melbourne team and confirms that we are ready to meet our target of 26 aircraft delivered by the end of 2012,” said Phil Krull, managing director, Embraer Executive Aircraft, Inc.

Executive AirShare and its subsidiary Executive Flight Services operate a fleet of 41 aircraft, including 18 Phenom 100 and Phenom 300 jets. The company offers comprehensive aircraft care, management and charter services in the Central U.S. and Great Lakes regions and was one of the first to offer both Embraer jets.
