Nov. 28, 2007, São José dos Campos, Brazil – The theme of the ESC
Awards 2007 was “Maturity: Reliability, Performance and Customer
Satisfaction.”

Embraer awarded the “Suppliers of the Year”, in nine categories, during ceremonies held on Tuesday, November 27. The event occurred in conjunction with the Embraer Partners & Suppliers Conference (ESC 2007), November 26 and 27 in Atibaia, São Paulo.

The award is in recognition of the triumphs of Embraer’s suppliers, in terms of improving the quality and efficiency of the products and services they furnish, as well as the support provided to airline operators.

The new aspect of this edition was the creation of two new award categories:  interiors, which up to last year was a part of the Structures segment, and Programs Under Development, won by AirCell LLC and Meggitt (Dunlop Aerospace Braking Systems), respectively.
