Awards 2007 was “Maturity: Reliability, Performance and Customer
Satisfaction.”
Embraer awarded the “Suppliers of the Year”, in nine categories, during ceremonies held on Tuesday, November 27. The event occurred in conjunction with the Embraer Partners & Suppliers Conference (ESC 2007), November 26 and 27 in Atibaia, São Paulo.
The award is in recognition of the triumphs of Embraer’s suppliers, in terms of improving the quality and efficiency of the products and services they furnish, as well as the support provided to airline operators.
The new aspect of this edition was the creation of two new award categories: interiors, which up to last year was a part of the Structures segment, and Programs Under Development, won by AirCell LLC and Meggitt (Dunlop Aerospace Braking Systems), respectively.
This year’s winners, in their respective categories, are:
Structure: ENAER
Interior: AirCell LLC
Electric & Electronics: Aviation Communication and Surveillance Systems (ACSS)
Mechanical: Ametek Aerospace
Raw Materials: Hexcel Composites
Hardware: ECS
Programs Under Development: Meggitt – Dunlop Aerospace Braking Systems
Technical Support to Operations: Rolls-Royce
Material Support to Operations: Goodrich Power Systems
