This is more than double the 2014 cadet intake and not only shows Emirates Airline’s growing pilot requirements in tandem with its fleet expansion, but also the airline’s confidence in CAE Oxford Aviation Academy’s cadet training and graduate output.

Emirates Airline selected CAE Oxford Aviation Academy in 2012 with the first cadets commencing training in January 2013. Since then, approximately 50 cadets have started training in Oxford, U.K.

Following the successful completion and graduation of its first cadets, Emirates has assessed the quality of the graduates and decided to increase the number of cadets training at CAE Oxford Aviation Academy exclusively.

“We are delighted that Emirates has decided to double its cadet intake for 2015,” said Nick Leontidis, CAE Group President, Civil Simulation and Training, “This serves to validate the quality of our training program and our experienced instructing team. We look forward to continuing to partner with Emirates in 2015 to help meet its pilot requirements for the future.”
