Emirates, Porter announce new interline agreement

Emirates and Porter Airlines have announced a new interline agreement that provides Canadians greater access to Dubai and beyond with two of the world's most service-driven airlines. The agreement allows passengers the convenience to depart daily from Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport (YTZ) on Porter, connecting in Boston (BOS) or Washington (IAD), before continuing their journey to Dubai and beyond with Emirates.

“Consistently strong flight loads out of Toronto Pearson indicate Canadians continue to enjoy Emirates’ award-winning A380 product and service offering,” said Emirates Country Manager for Canada, Don McWilliam. “The new agreement with Porter will offer Canadian passengers even more choice to fly Emirates by offering a daily connection with Porter from their increasingly popular downtown city airport.”

“Providing access to the Emirates network via downtown Toronto opens new possibilities for Porter passengers,” said Michael Deluce, executive vice president and chief commercial officer of Porter Airlines. “It is also a great opportunity for those travelling from Dubai to land in the heart of Canada’s largest city.”

The new interline agreement between Emirates and Porter is valid for tickets issued in first class, business, economy class and group travel. Connections in Boston or Washington in one direction provide a unique opportunity for Canadians to enhance their travel with a stopover in some of America’s most dynamic destinations. Porter offers up to eight daily roundtrip flights to Boston Logan Airport and up to four daily roundtrip flights to Washington Dulles International Airport.
