April 16, 2009, Paris, France, Amstelveen, The Netherlands – Canadian charter airline Enerjet signed an exclusive five-year component support contract with Air France Industries (AFI) and KLM Engineering & Maintenance (KLM E&M) covering maintenance and pool access for their growing fleet of 737NGs.

The support will be offered by the joint Component Services Program (CSP) of Boeing and KLM E&M. The 737NG CSP Program provides fast access to critical parts. It offers Enerjet cost saving (up to 30%) on their component repair and inventory costs by providing access to a global pool of components. All components will be available for shipment within 24 hours of request. Enerjet can also replace a faulty unit quickly and easily with its own on-site inventory. Enerjet’s aircraft are joining a global 737NG pool of about 200 aircraft and is thereby able to benefit from all the advantages of this dedicated OEM, MRO and Operator Program.

Superior safety & reliability. “We are very proud of the confidence Enerjet has shown in our MRO services by selecting us as their key strategic supply chain partner”, said Rob Pruim, AFI KLM E&M Vice President Sales International. “Enerjet will benefit from AFI KLM E&M’s experience, it’s focus on on-time-performance and it’s strong operational support. We will provide Enerjet the basis for a safe and reliable operation”.

Gareth Davies, Enerjet Vice President Tech Ops said, “The support that we received from AFI-KLM during our start-up phase convinced us that this was a true partnership and not just a contract service. With AFI KLM E&M's depth of knowledge, support and overhaul capabilities we are in the position of being able to provide our customers with superior safety and reliability.  We look forward to a long term relationship with AFI KLM E&M.”
