June 5, 2012, Calgary - Enerjet is pleased to announce an agreement with Husky Energy to provide air charter transportation services for the Sunrise Energy Project.

This multi-year agreement secures the air transportation of personnel to and from Sunrise in a safe and efficient manner. Assisting Enerjet with delivery of the services will be Air Partners Corp, Central Mountain Air, Executive Flight Centres and Knight Aviation. The scope of services includes air transportation by small, medium and large aircraft, and aviation ground services in Calgary and Edmonton.
"This is a significant step forward in our plan to expand and improve aviation services" according to Darcy Morgan, Vice President of Business Development and Integration. "With our partners, we provide a full range of aviation services for workforce transportation".
In addition to the Husky agreement, Enerjet announces the addition of another Boeing 737 to its fleet. The aircraft is a sister ship to the B737 already in operation. "We analyzed various aircraft types, and chose the Boeing Next Generation (NG)" said Morgan. "An environmental impact study determined the NG can reduce the carbon footprint per passenger by up to 30% when compared to many of the older aircraft flying in Canada today. And when compared to ground transportation over the same routes, the carbon advantage of the NG aircraft is even greater. They are also among the most reliable aircraft available. As a result, we exceeded 99% reliability in the past year. For our customers, this is paramount. Their projects can’t afford unnecessary transportation delays."
Enerjet is a Canadian charter airline operating since 2008, with happy customers in the energy, construction, defense, public sector, and travel & tourism markets. We are licensed to offer charter, schedule, domestic and international flights. Our people and planes go anywhere our customers do.
