CCAA Convergence National Labour Market Strategy event:

Today in 2019, we are already experiencing the initial effects of shortages in Canada caused both by lack of domestic supply and a drain of experienced workers to other countries who are tackling similar shortages. Recognizing this, NLMS IV will not only focus on continuing to build the evolving strategy, but also in assisting you in moving from discussion to action in key areas.

Our theme this year is “Convergence”. We understand that the industry doesn’t have the capacity to evaluate and support multiple strategies. We also understand that by joining forces with other National and Regional associations we can leverage our limited resources to maximize the return from a more inclusive National Labour Market Strategy. At the same time, we will be opening the Convergence dialogue with Government to see what opportunities exist for them to support out industry in a more coordinated manner.

During the event we will have a number of Workshops running, where the focus will be on the simple steps you can take to start implementing development strategies within your company. Interactive sessions will be led by experts and/or successful practitioners who will be offering real advice on how to get started.
