ExelTech Aerospace announces management changes

Aug. 5, 2009, Montreal –ExelTech Aerospace Inc., a leading aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul provider with operations in Montreal and Quebec City, yesterday announced that in accordance with their succession plan, Sylvain Duval will be promoted to the position of President and Chief Executive Officer of ExelTech. Robin Wohnsigl, who was filling in as CEO on an interim basis, will revert to his duties on the Board of Directors, effective August 17, 2009. Sylvain was President and Chief Operating Officer since April 2008. "Sylvain instituted numerous productivity and efficiency enhancements that were instrumental in returning Exeltech Aerospace to profitable", said Robin Wohnsigl. "He has also been the principal architect of the organizational structure that will carry us forward. Sylvain has demonstrated his ability to lead the Exeltech Aerospace team."

ExelTech also announced the appointment of Mr. Stephen Hops as vice-president Operations. He will be responsible for Maintenance (both Montréal and Québec), Supply Chain, Quality Assurance & Training, Planning, Continuous Improvement and Customer Relations. Mr. Hops previously held positions of General Manager and Director of Operations of leading companies. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Master's Degree in Business Administration. "I am proud to be welcoming Stephen in our executive management team", said Sylvain Duval, "he will be a key player in our recently re-organized company".
