“At this time last year, Kelowna had about 530 employees. Since then, thanks to significant growth in customers, contracts and facilities in our maintenance operations, we have opened up 145 new positions.” indicates Grant Stevens, director of human resources, “we still have over 50 positions we are working to fill – many of them in entry roles to aviation where we provide all the necessary training.”

KF also announced to their staff in June that they were increasing the entry-level wages to $14.00/hour, with most new positions eligible for twice a year increases. Many of the new positions reach $20/hour (or more) plus a full benefits package.

The KF Aerospace Central Hangar expansion opens in mid-August 2017.
