Family of aviation enthusiast lends name to Fanshawe program
At a celebration on May 26, the family of the late Norton Wolf pledged their support to Fanshawe College by announcing the naming of the School of Aviation Technology to the Norton Wolf School of Aviation Technology.

Mr. Wolf was an avid pilot with a tremendous love of flying.
He was also an outstanding business and community leader throughout his lifetime. Mr. Wolf is best known for his business interests in real estate and his philanthropy. He and his wife Lucille made impressive contributions to the City of London, supporting the arts, medical, and educational institutions through the family’s charitable foundation.
“I am so pleased to make this special announcement on behalf of our family. We are delighted to be recognizing our father with the naming of the Norton Wolf School of Aviation Technology at Fanshawe,” said his son Ron Wolf. “This naming recognition combines perfectly, Norton’s passion for aviation with his commitment to education, which has found an ideal home at Fanshawe College.”

Fanshawe College is in the midst of a $100 million “Remarkable” campaign, securing support for four priority projects.
The Norton Wolf School of Aviation Technology is an exciting and growing program portfolio for Fanshawe College. Boasting 18 aircraft of varied specifications, 80,000 square feet of learning environment, and the nation’s only in-school virtual maintenance training laboratory, students receive an unmatched education in their industry.
Supports are significant for graduates, who enjoy co-op opportunities from Diamond Aircraft, Jazz Airlines, WestJet, New United Goderich and several other successful and valued industry partners.
The Norton Wolf School of Aviation Technology continues to expand, launching the first Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Certificate in Ontario, with plans to expand programming this year with exciting educational opportunities that meet the needs of the future.
