Jan. 9, 2008, Montreal – The Canadian Space Agency has a new interim
boss less than a year after Laurier Boisvert was chosen to head the
organization.

Federal Industry Minister Jim Prentice has quietly announced that
Guy Bujold has been picked to run the space agency.

A news release on the organization's website says Bujold will
head the CSA until a new president is appointed.

Boisvert, a former president and CEO of Telesat, was appointed to
the space agency's top job in April 2007.
