FlightSafety selects Deacon Charters to provide P&WC training in India

FlightSafety International has signed an agreement with Deccan Charters Pvt Ltd to provide Pratt & Whitney Canada Engine training in India. Training will be offered at Deccan’s facility in Bangalore on an extensive range of P&WC’s turboprop, turbofan, and turboshaft aircraft engines including the PT6A, PW 100, PT6T, PW 200 series. Courses are scheduled to begin during the last quarter of 2015.

The training programs will offer in-depth classroom and hands-on instruction designed to develop, expand and refine proficiency. Technicians will benefit from highly effective training that supports their efforts to maintain aircraft and their engines to the highest standards. The Center will be equipped with training engines, a FlightSafety Graphical FlightDeck Simulator for instructor led and self-paced learning, as well as Desktop simulators for classroom instruction. Deccan’s instructors will be trained by FlightSafety, and will receive approval from aviation regulatory agencies as required.
