Oct. 20, 2010, Atlanta, Ga. – Flying Colours to be the preferred completions center for installation of Silentium Air soundproofing system.

Silentium Air, developers of advanced sound proofing systems for business aircraft, and Flying Colours, a global leader in all aspects of aircraft completions and maintenance, today announced a partnership to provide a sound proofing system for completions of green and refurbished Bombardier Challenger 850 and converted CRJ 200 business aircraft.

This agreement makes the Silentium Air system an integral part of all Challenger 850 completions and CRJ 200 conversions offered by Flying Colours. Furthermore, it establishes Flying Colours as Silentium Air’s preferred installer of sound proofing systems for this aircraft type.

Tailored for the engineering specifications of the Bombardier Challenger 850/CRJ 200, the Silentium Air sound proofing system reduces overall cabin noise. In turn, lower noise levels reduce passenger fatigue and create a much more productive and comfortable environment for conversation, concentration and audio/video entertainment.

Silentium Air sound proofing systems are FAA supplemental type certificate (STC) approved and thus pre-certified for all installations. Additionally, the Challenger 850/CRJ 200 system is significantly lighter in weight than similar sound proofing kits. Its tailor-made modular components are quick and easy to install and may be integrated into larger completions and conversions projects with ease.

“We are very pleased to bring our industry-leading sound proofing system to numerous new customers through our partnership with Flying Colours,” said Nicholas Houseman, President, Silentium Air. “Challenger 850/CRJ 200 customers will now have enhanced sound proofing. The seamless integration of the installation into the completions process and the reduced number of parts in our system will benefit both customers and installation crews. We welcome our new partnership with Flying Colours and look forward to our shared success,” Mr. Houseman added.

“We look forward to working with Silentium Air,” said John Gillespie, President, Flying Colours. “In response to the growing market demand for Challenger 850 completions and CRJ 200 conversions, the addition of this sound proofing system further strengthens the value or our product/service offering and highlights Flying Colours as the world-leading completions center for Challenger 850/CRJ 200 business aircraft,” Mr. Gillespie concluded.
