The new status for its Ontario location enables Flying Colours Corp. to further expand its King Air portfolio and, along with its recent Beechcraft and Blackhawk Authorized Service Centre accreditations, its capabilities are bolstered to fully complete upgrades.  It can now undertake King Air maintenance, refurbishments, modifications, and paint work in addition to full completions – all under one roof.

Commenting on the new appointment, John Gillespie, CEO of Flying Colours Corp. stated: “The entire Flying Colours Corp. team is extremely pleased to be part of the Raisbeck Engineering ASC network. Raisbeck Engineering’s performance systems for King Airs are renowned for enhancing both performance and adding value to the product line. The new status affords us even more capability in the turboprop sector and gives Canadian turboprop owners greater flexibility when selecting their partner for maintenance, modifications, refurbishment and/or upgrades. We anticipate considerable interest from our local customer base.”

Following the appointment as a Beechcraft ASC in April 2013 which covers the entire King Air, Baron and Bonanza product lines, Flying Colours Corp. has undertaken routine maintenance activities on a growing number of King Air’s and has been working with Beechraft on new aircraft sales, including the process of importation into Canada and post-delivery modifications.

Equally, Flying Colours Corp. has received a positive response from Canadian turboprop owners and operators since achieving Blackhawk Modifications Inc. ASC status in October 2011 and will be slotting King Air engine upgrades into the Ontario facility in the coming months.
