The National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) is pleased to announce that Forbes magazine publisher and business airplane owner and pilot Rich Karlgaard will be a keynote speaker at the Opening General Session of the Association’s 62nd Annual Meeting & Convention (NBAA 2009) on Tuesday, October 20, 2009, at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, FL.

Karlgaard said: “I look forward to being there on opening day and discussing the trends I’m seeing in business aviation and in the broader financial marketplace. I’m also eager to hear from those in attendance about the measures they’re taking to help their flight operations meet the challenges present in this very turbulent economic environment.”

Karlgaard’s participation in NBAA2009 marks his second appearance at an NBAA Convention. He also spoke at the Opening General Session of NBAA’s 2005 Annual Meeting & Convention in Orlando, where his remarks focused on the advantages of business aviation to entrepreneurs in developing stronger customer relationships and improving the efficiency of their operations.
