Héroux-Devtek signs aftermarket contract for the Fokker 100 aircraft

Jan. 16, 2009, Longeuil, QC- Héroux-Devtek Inc. has announced that Fokker Services BV has awarded its Landing Gear Division a contract to manufacture major replacement landing gear components for the
Fokker 100 aircraft.
    
Under the terms of the agreement, Héroux-Devtek will supply complete aftermarket kits including major components, such as pistons and cylinders. Deliveries are expected to begin in the spring of 2010 and should be completed by the end of calendar year 2013. Based on current projections, the total value of the contract is estimated to be between $15 and $24 million.
    
"This contract further validates our strategic objective of broadening the scope of our services and product offering", said Gilles Labbé, President and Chief Executive Officer of Héroux-Devtek. "Fokker Services is a new customer for Héroux-Devtek and our well-established reputation and ability to provide value-added kitting services were key elements in obtaining this mandate."
