Horizon Air orders two NextGen airliners

Feb. 16, 2012, Toronto - Bombardier Aerospace says it has a firm order to sell a pair of its Q400 NextGen airliners to Horizon Air of Seattle for about $60 million.

Horizon Air, a wholly owned subsidiary of Alaska Air Group, is the largest operator of Bombardier's Q400 and Q400 NextGen aircraft in the Americas with 48 aircraft in service today.

Including this latest deal, Bombardier has booked firm orders for 420 Q400 and Q400 NextGen aircraft, with 389 delivered as of Dec. 31, 2011.
