It is open to individuals who are at least eighteen (18) years of age on the date they enter the contest. Participants are asked to produce a video of 30 seconds or less (in English or with English subtitles) on why a career in aviation would be exciting.

The winning video will be chosen by a panel of aviation professionals on the basis of its inspiration, originality and creativity. The prize will consist of an invitation (roundtrip, accommodation, stipend and registration fees) to attend the World Aviation Training Conference and Tradeshow (WATS) in Orlando, Fla., April 17-19.

While attending WATS, the winner will be officially recognized for his or her achievement and will have a unique opportunity to meet with aviation professionals from around the world.

The contest is part of ICAO's Next Generation of Aviation Professionals (NGAP) initiative which addresses the anticipated shortage of skilled aviation professionals in the near future. The objective of NGAP is to ensure that enough qualified and competent aviation professionals are available to operate, manage and maintain the future international air transport system.
