The company received a certificate of approval from Anatel, the Brazilian National Telecommunications Agency, which is responsible for recognizing and certifying telecommunication products and issuing standards and regulations regarding their use in Brazil.

“Brazil is an important and active aviation market for both the business aviation and air transport segments,” said Jeff Saucedo, ICG’s Vice President of OEM Sales. “The approval by Anatel of our popular NxtLink Series ICS-220A Iridium® system allows us to not only meet the requirements of our existing customer base but also expand and look at new opportunities in Brazil. Brazil has the second largest aircraft population in the Americas and is ranked as the world’s sixth largest economy. This is a major step in growing the market for our products,” he added.
