Intrepid Aviation names John Shavinsky COO

June 21, 2011, Germantown, Tenn. - Intrepid Aviation today announced that CIT Aerospace leasing executive John Shavinsky has joined the company as its new Chief Operating Officer.

Shavinsky joins Frank Pray, the recently appointed President and CEO of Intrepid.

"John brings a tremendous amount of experience in the aircraft leasing industry with him and joins us to implement our expanded leasing platform," said Frank Pray.  "John's industry wide relationships and broad aircraft background greatly expand Intrepid's capabilities.  We are excited to be working with John given his experience and reputation."

Shavinsky was formerly Senior Vice President at CIT Aerospace. Prior to that, he was with International Lease Finance Corporation and the Boeing Company.
