Jaeger Mah ready to take on Vancouver airport

Aug. 18, 2011, Vancouver - A British Columbia man may soon start to feel like Tom Hanks' character in the movie "The Terminal.''

Jaeger Mah will spend the next 80 days camped out at Vancouver's airport — but unlike Hanks' character — Mah's stay is voluntary.

He won a contest to become the airport's official storyteller.

The 29-year-old will tell stories about the people who work at or pass through the airport every day to the "Live at YVR'' blog and Twitter.

Mah will live at the airport's upscale Fairmont hotel and can also scout around for stories around Sea Island which houses the airport.

Mah, who is originally from Port Alberni, started a video production company earlier this year.

When he's finished his airport stay, he'll walk away with 15-thousand dollars cash.
