Jazz named one of Nova Scotia’s top employers`
Jazz Aviation has been recognized as one of Nova Scotia's Top 15 Employers for 2016 by Mediacorp Canada Inc. This marks the fifth consecutive year that Jazz is honoured with this award. The annual survey chooses employers that lead in offering the most progressive human resources programs and forward-thinking workplace policies. "Jazz is pleased to receive this award once again," said Colin Copp, President, Jazz. "We continue to invest in programs that make Jazz a great workplace for our employees to develop and succeed. This award is a tribute to our employees who pride themselves on our industry-leading reputation for safety and our outstanding customer service."

This special designation recognizes the employers in Nova Scotia that lead their industries in offering exceptional places to work. Mediacorp’s evaluation of the various candidates is based on an assessment focused on eight key aspects: physical workplace; work and social atmosphere; health, financial and family benefits; vacation and time off; employee communications; performance management; training and skills development; and community involvement.
Jazz was recognized for supporting ongoing employee development with formal mentoring and tuition subsidies; encouraging employees to prepare for the future with retirement planning assistance and contributions to a pension plan; cultivating an ownership culture; and supporting employee social activities throughout the year.
