Jeff Letwin to lead Legal Committee for Airports Council International

Jan. 2, 2008, Pittsburgh, PA – Schnader Harrison Segal  Lewis managing
partner Jeff Letwin has been named chair of the Legal Committee for the
Airports Council International, the leading voice of the global airport
industry.

“The Airports Council international is the airport industry’s trade
group and works to promote professional excellence in airport
management and operations and support the critical role the airport
industry plays for economies worldwide,” said Letwin.  “The committee
provides legal guidance and advice to the ACI’s Board of Directors
regarding issues confronting airports generally, ranging from legal
challenges to regulatory compliance.” 

Letwin has served as a board member; chair or solicitor of several
municipal and government agencies in western Pennsylvania including the
Allegheny County Airport Authority, the Port Authority of Allegheny
County, the City of Pittsburgh’s planning committee and the Allegheny
County Sanitary Authority.  Locally, he serves as solicitor for the
Allegheny County Airport Authority and internationally as a member of
the Airports Council International Legal Committee.  Letwin’s community
involvement includes his role as Chairman of VisitPittsburgh and The
Pittsburgh 250 Commission.

In addition to the various boards and community interests he serves,
Letwin is managing partner of Schnader's Pittsburgh office which
includes 31 attorneys. His practice focus includes business counseling
related to corporate finance, securities, real estate development,
franchising, and municipal and government services.
