Jet Airways Names New Officers for Canada and Midwest, USA Offices

Nov. 21, 2007, Toronto, Ont. - Jet Airways is  expanding its North American operations with the appointment of general managers in Toronto and Chicago.

Nov. 21, 2007, Toronto, Ont. – Jet Airways, India's largest publicly traded airline, is  expanding its North American operations with the appointment of General Manager, Midwest, USA with offices in Chicago and the appointment of a new General Manager, Canada with offices in Toronto, announced Regional VP, USA and Canada, Zainul Aljunied.

Having successfully overseen the launch of Jet Airways' daily service from Toronto Pearson International Airport earlier this year, B. Chandrashekar will return to his base in Chicago, where he will be charged with the further expansion of the airline's sales in the Midwest market.  Mr. Chandrashekar has worked with Jet Airways since its inception in India in 1993, including in sales positions in the Middle East, Canada and Chicago.

As the new General Manager of Jet Airways' Canada office in Toronto, Justin Gosling will continue the airline's successful operations out of Canada.  Mr. Gosling comes to Jet Airways with almost nine years of experience with a well known European Airline, where he worked most recently as the airline's Regional Sales Manager for Western Canada.  Mr. Gosling also worked with HRG Canada, Inc., where he helmed North American industry relations in negotiations with airlines and hotel companies.
