The AME-M is an experienced fully competent licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer - Mechanical, reporting to the Shift Lead and responsible for performing line maintenance and heavy maintenance in a safe and efficient manner.

Successful candidates will receive a competitive salary, based on your qualifications and experience. A licensed AME-M receives $27.25 - $33.38 with room to grow into Senior and Shift Lead roles.
Duties and Responsibilities
Project Maintenance: The AME works with minimal direct supervision on line and heavy maintenance projects, involving:
· Applying thorough understanding of systems - air conditioning, hydraulics, engines, flight controls, landing gear, avionics, electrical generation, oxygen, fuel, pneumatics - on multiple aircraft
· Signing off on own work and the work of others where endorsed

Demonstrated Technical Skills: The AME is expected to be able to demonstrate his/her capability to understand and perform the following technical functions:
· Ability to accurately identify, obtain, use and test appropriate tools for the jobs; make recommendations as to effectiveness of tools available
· Completing daily inspection
· Receiving and departing aircraft
· Performing component changes
· Familiarity with and capability of safely operating all ground equipment
· Removal and installation of flight controls, engine components, propellers and more detailed landing gear work
· Familiarity with functional operation of the aircraft and ability to perform run ups from the right and left seat
· Ability to perform rigging on multiple systems
· Clearing up log book snags, performing critical and non-critical systems checks

Safety: The AME must apply safe work practices in all job duties
Documentation: The AME is responsible to become familiar with general KF Aerospace paperwork and parts ordering
Required Certification, Education, Experience or Skills
· Completed apprenticeship and have successfully written Transport Canada regulatory/maintenance exam(s) and hold M2 Licence
· Must be able to obtain a KF Aerospace ACA
· Must be able to obtain TC Airport Pass
· Radio license required.
· Must have troubleshooting experience
· Positive attitude and strong work ethic
· Able to work effectively independently and as part of a team
· Ability to work 40 hours a week in a rotating shift-work environment
· Must be able to meet the physical demands of the job
· Ability to travel as required
