John Bozin joins AVCARD/World Fuel Services

Jan. 20, 2009, Hunt Valley, MD – John Bozin  has joined AVCARD/World Fuel Services as vice-president of Finance.  John is based in Hunt Valley, Maryland, reporting to Ira Birns, EVP and CFO.  John will also work very closely with Linda Kropp and the AVCARD team on day-to-day operations of the AVCARD business as well as strategic initiatives.

John's initial responsibilities will include overseeing AVCARD's finance, financial operation and administrative functions.  He will also assume financial responsibilities for our overall Business Aviation segment.

John has significant experience with financial management, receivables, and credit card operations in high transaction volume environments.  He began his career with Janus Capital in Denver where he managed the back office operations.  He also worked for First Horizon and TRANSFIRST, two large card processing/merchant services companies. Most recently, John served as V.P. of finance and compliance for a large Denver-based law firm which specializes in the collection of credit card receivables.

John is a graduate of the University of Colorado, with a B.S. and M.S. in Finance.
