Kuchta takes on new role at FlightSafety

flightsafetyJune 25, 2014, New York, N.Y. - FlightSafety International has appointed Paul Kuchta to Director, Training Operations. He will manage the implementation of policies and procedures related to the company’s aircraft maintenance technician and cabin safety training programs.

“We look forward to Paul’s contributions to our maintenance and cabin safety programs,” said Daniel MacLellan, Vice President, Operations. “Our Customers and Teammates who train and work throughout FlightSafety’s worldwide network of Learning Centers will benefit from Paul’s commitment to help provide the highest quality programs and by his experience with aircraft maintenance training at FlightSafety and in the United States Air Force.”

Paul began his career with FlightSafety in 1998 at the Learning Center in Dallas, Texas as a Technical Analyst. He then worked as a maintenance training instructor prior to being promoted to Director of Maintenance Training in 2001. Paul most recently served as an Assistant Center Manager of the Dallas Center. His specific responsibilities included management of maintenance training programs and the team of Customer Support representatives.

He served in the United States Air Force for 21 years prior to joining FlightSafety. Paul developed aircraft maintenance training curriculums, managed numerous Aircraft Crew Chiefs and technicians, and served as Superintendant of a Maintenance Operations Center with responsibility for coordinating and tracking the maintenance of a large fleet of F-15 aircraft.

Paul studied Systems Maintenance Technology at the USAF Community College and leadership at the Noncommissioned Officer Academy. He holds an Airframe & Powerplant Certificate and currently serves on the Tarrant County College Aviation Advisory Committee.
