Labour minister will try to prevent AC strike
Sept. 19, 2011, Montreal - The federal labour minister is inviting Air Canada and flight attendants to a meeting early next week if they can't hammer out a tentative agreement over the weekend.

Labour Minister Lisa Raitt says she hopes the two sides can reach a deal without her involvement and avoid a strike by 6,800 flight attendants.
