Sept, 8, 2008, Minneapolis — Where can you go to witness a full spectrum of aviation novelties – from the glory days of the Golden Age to some of the most innovative technological advancements of our time – all in one place? Join the Lindbergh Foundation at the “Spectrum of Aviation” hangar party at the Golden Wings Museum at the Anoka County Airport in Blaine on Saturday, September 27, from 6-9 p.m.

You’ll find yourself in the company of legendary flight instructors John and Martha King, of King Schools, Inc.; Greg Herrick, the owner of Golden Wings Museum; and Miles O’Brien, CNN Correspondent, who will be the Master of Ceremonies. Mingle with other aviation enthusiasts in the splendor of one of the largest collections of Golden Age Aircraft in the country on display at the Golden Wings Museum.

Witness a BRS rocket launch of the company’s aircraft recovery parachute, a product demo of Forward Vision’s “Forward-Looking Infrared” for General Aviation cockpits, and get a first-hand look at selected items from the new exclusive line of aviation-themed clothing from Orvis based on the style and type worn by Charles Lindbergh.
“This hangar party is going to be a great time,” said Lindbergh Foundation President Knox Bridges. “Greg Herrick’s collection of vintage aircraft is second-to-none, and the rocket launch by BRS is sure to be a crowd-pleaser. We’re especially pleased to introduce the new “aviation-themed” line of clothing from The Orvis Company. I’ve seen the product samples and they are fantastic.

Orvis has an impeccable reputation and commitment to environmental conservation, which makes them an ideal partner for the Lindbergh Foundation.”
There will be a buffet-style pig roast dinner, cash bar, program and auction.
