Lockheed Martin, European Aviation sign key MRO deal

Oct. 7, 2014, Montreal - European Aviation has signed a four-year exclusive agreement with Lockheed Martin Commercial Engine Solutions for jet engine maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) services for their fleet of 60 CFM56-3 jet engines.

The agreement includes extensive CFM56-3 turbofan repair services provided on-site for European Aviation, with most of the MRO work performed in Montreal, Canada and the remainder in San Antonio, Texas.

Founded in 1989, European Aviation provides executive and passenger aircraft and jet engines. Certified for EASA145 engineering support, European Aviation has grown into a multi-national group of specialist companies providing aircraft engineering support, spares support, aircraft seating and ground support equipment to the aviation industry.
