Manitoba Chapter 99s Award Scholarship
At the Manitoba Aviation Council 2010 Conference, Rosella Bjornson awarded a scholarship to Adelinde Grobler.

May 5, 2010 – At the Manitoba Aviation Council 2010 Conference, Rosella Bjornson
awarded a scholarship to Adelinde Grobler. The scholarship is named
after Rosella, who was a trail blazer for women in commercial jet
service in North America. Adelinde has a private licence and intends
to use the scholarship towards her night rating. She is currently a
full time student at the University of Winnipeg. At the same time,
she is taking her flight training at Winnipeg Aviation, St. Andrews
Airport. She received $2,000 to apply towards flight training.

The Manitoba Chapter organizes a Poker Derby and undertakes other fund
raising activities to award a flying scholarship each year. The
scholarship fund itself is maintained with The Winnipeg Foundation.
Anyone wishing to donate to the fund will receive a income tax
