Martel takes on new role at Bombardier
Aug. 12, 2011, Montreal - Éric Martel has accepted the role of president, Bombardier customer services & specialized and amphibious aircraft. He brings with him a wealth of experience in both business and commercial aircraft and will leverage his expertise to drive continued performance improvements for the in-service fleet.

Based at the Montreal headquarters, Martel will assume overall leadership of the service and support network, and carry on the journey to expand Bombardier's capabilities, global reach and responsiveness—to ensure customer's success and operational requirements are put first.
Martel joined Bombardier Aerospace in 2005. He has held various senior management roles, notably serving as vice president and general manager – Challenger and global product lines, and most recently senior vice president – commercial aircraft, where he led aircraft programs for all commercial aircraft.
