MC2 signs dealer agreement with Satcom Direct

Satcom Direct provides global satellite communications to business, military and general aviation clients along with land mobile and maritime customers. Another Satcom Direct proprietary service and product is its FlightDeck Freedom (FDF) – a datalink service that is fully compatible with all avionics and airframe manufacturers. FDF datalink technology was specifically designed to support business and military aviation worldwide. FDF provides pilots critical data such as pre-departure clearances, Digital ATIS, oceanic clearances, airport weather, graphical weather and flight plan routes – all received upon pilot request. FDF also enables pilots to monitor cabin communications to ensure that telephone and Internet services are fully operational for passengers. Dispatchers and maintenance personnel may also monitor the aircraft through automated takeoff and landing reports, email messages to/from the aircraft, and can see aircraft position at any time with Satcom Direct's exclusive SD Flight Tracker.
 
Satcom Direct also provide accelerated high-speed data, real-time traffic monitoring, VoIP services, ATS position reporting and unified electronic billing. The company is a premier Inmarsat Distribution Partner, Iridium Service Partner and ViaSat’s preferred reseller, supporting more than ninety percent of all corporate flight departments.
