Million Air awards FBO team

Oct. 20, 2014, Houston, Tx. - Each year, Million Air presents awards to members of its FBO team who have been nominated for recognition of their service excellence.

The awards are presented to the Line Service Professional of the Year and Customer Service Professional of the Year. Nominations are taken from across the Million Air FBO network and require managers to submit a detailed letter explaining why the individual is worthy of the award.

Considerations used in determining a successful recipient include the employee’s care of customers and their ability to perform service par excellence. Recognition is also given for creating an environment of teamwork, the preservation of outstanding customer service while using a positive attitude and being an outstanding ambassador of Million Air. Lastly, a safety minded attitude and approach that reflects an accident free record, along with top rated annual reviews are important elements as well.

Accordingly, Million Air is pleased to announce that this year’s outstanding team members are:

  • Million Air Customer Service Professional of the Year – Carly Shields of Million Air Medford – MFR.
  • Million Air Line Service Professional of the Year – Don Loyd of Million Air Topeka – FOE.

“We have built our FBO network on one basis alone – outstanding and truly memorable service – the sort that keeps people not only remembering to come back, but also telling others about their experience,” said Roger Woolsey, Million Air president and CEO. “The teams that we have assembled and the training they have received makes them consistently among the best in this business. How do we know? Because we are told so, both directly and through various third-party and industry survey systems. While all of our team members are truly outstanding and have embraced aviation as a love and avocation, there are always a few who truly stand out and are deserving of recognition. An award like this places thanks where it is due as recognition for a job well done. I am truly glad to know each of these people and have them as part of the Million Air team.”
