In addition to AIRINC providing FDM support to ATAC members throughout the year, the new agreement also provides for an added FDM focus during annual ATAC conferences, scheduled to next take place in Vancouver, BC, from November 13 to 15, 2018.

ATAC describes its mission as an effort to support it members in their commitment to a safe, world leading and sustainable Canadian air transport industry. AIRINC explains the new partnership will allow ATAC to offer its membership access to a Canadian flight data monitoring program. This will in turn provide them with a common resourced service sets, explains AIRINC, at preferred pricing and to exchange best practices within their member organizations.

At the same time, AIRINC explains the new agreement will allow it to build upon the approximately 275 Canadian registered commercial aircraft it currently provides with monitoring services.

“ATAC is very pleased that we have entered into this long-term agreement with AIRINC and we look forward to providing these preferred services to our existing and future ATAC members,” said Les Aalders, executive VP of ATAC. “The mandate of ATAC [is] to promote member access to best practices, especially as it relates to safety.”
