Bombardier Challengers 350, 650 hit delivery milestones

Bombardier Business Aircraft has announced delivery milestones for its two latest Challenger models. The company’s super-midsize Challenger 350 has surpassed 200 deliveries since entering service in June 2014, and the airframer recently handed over the 50th large-cabin Challenger 650, which entered service in late 2015.

According to Bombardier, the Challenger 300 series has garnered more deliveries than any other business jet model in the last decade, at more than 650 in service. The Canadian aircraft manufacturer also dubbed the Challenger 600 series—which includes the Model 600, 601-3A/3R, 604, 605 and 650—the “best-selling business jet of all time” in the large-cabin category, with nearly 1,100 deliveries recorded to date.

“Achieving these significant delivery milestones is a testament to the unrivaled capabilities of our newest Challengers,” said Bombardier Business Aircraft senior vice president of sales and marketing Peter Likoray. “No competitor comes close to the comfort and connectivity of the Challenger’s cabin, nor to their class-leading economics and dependable performance in operation.”

Bombardier also claims that its Challengers have the lowest direct operating cost in their respective categories “due to affordable maintenance programs and longer maintenance intervals than the competition.”
