Embraer Aircraft Maintenance inks three-year pact with Republic

Miami, Fla. - Embraer has announced that Republic Airways Holding, Inc. awarded Embraer Aircraft Maintenance Services (EAMS) with a three-year extension of its heavy maintenance contract for work performed at the EAMS facility, located in Nashville, Tenn.

EAMS will continue to provide airframe maintenance, modifications and repair services for Republic’s Embraer fleet under a contract that was initially signed in May 2011.

“We are pleased to extend our heavy maintenance services to our partner, Republic, Inc., operator of the largest E-Jets fleet in the world,” said Bob Percy, Managing Director of Embraer Aircraft Maintenance Services. “Republic’s contract extension is an endorsement to our services and our commitment towards excellence.”

Also, Drew Skaff, Vice-President, Supply Chain with Republic said: “Republic-Embraer partnership is consolidated with this extension of the Heavy Maintenance Agreement, as well as with other aircraft support services that we have been working together.” Republic is the largest E-Jet operator in the U.S., with 178 jets of E170, E175 and E190s aircraft models under Republic Airlines and Shuttle America operating certificates.
