Words from our first recipient of the award, Tessy Neitsch, Flight Operations Co-ordinator, Enbridge, Inc.:

“The role of a Corporate Flight Dispatcher & Scheduler is constantly changing.  It is now being recognized as more than just dispatching aircraft; it is about the people and personalities that inspire you to be the best you can be and to provide outstanding customer service.  I cannot think of a better way to promote, expand and enhance the career of a scheduler or dispatcher than to apply for the Shell Canada Schedulers & Dispatchers Scholarship.  Being the first recipient of this Scholarship in 2006 significantly changed my view of my career in this industry and how much I have yet to learn and contribute.  I have attended numerous PDP (Professional Development Program) Courses given by NBAA, all of which count towards achieving my CAM Diploma – Certified Aviation Manager; attended a CBAA Convention, and utilized some of the funds towards personal career enhancement in conjunction with my employer, Enbridge Inc..  The funds may be gone, but to this day I am still reaping the benefits of being awarded this scholarship.  Thank you Shell Canada.”
