“WOW Air will be a very interesting option for our passengers, who will enjoy very attractive fares for flights to Iceland and Europe,” said James C. Cherry, President and Chief Executive Officer of ADM, adding: “Likewise, for WOW passengers flying from Europe, Montreal-Trudeau will prove to be a gateway with many advantages.”

WOW Air’s Montreal-Reykjavik service will use 200-seat Airbus A321 aircraft. The carrier’s network includes some 20 European cities, including Berlin and Copenhagen.

“I am particularly pleased to be announcing Montreal as a destination today, given that I lived in the city for nearly 10 years and that Icelanders have a definite fondness for Canadians. WOW Air is proud to offer the cheapest fares to Iceland, and we do it with a smile and memorable service,” said Skuli Mogensen, owner and Chief Executive Officer of WOW Air.
