The worst of the downturn in the business jet market is over, according to a new forecast by Forecast International. The market for business jet production is expected to show some minor improvement next year, signaling the start of a gradual — but potentially long-lasting — market recovery, the forecast said.

Aéro Montréal and ASIS Saxony strike new pact

Bombardier's third-quarter profit soars
Transportation manufacturing giant Bombardier reported last week its profits soared by more than 30 per cent to US $192 million in the third quarter as it recorded improvements in both the aerospace and railway segments. The Montreal-based company, which reports in U.S. dollars, earned 11 cents per diluted share for the period ended Oct. 31, a gain of three cents compared to the third quarter of 2010.

Aqsaqniq Airways, Medic North Nunavut ink medevac deal ATL Media
Discovery Air Inc. and subsidiary Air Tindi Ltd. have announced that their majority Inuit-owned partnership, Aqsaqniq Airways Ltd., has been selected by the Government of Nunavut to supply air ambulance services in the Kitikmeot Region.
