Even though Chris Mazza's total compensation rose to $1.4 million, there was no expense too small for him to bill to the publicly-funded organization – not even a $2 parking permit.

The expenses ranged from flights to meals to some items marked as "personal'' that lacked any explanation.

Health Minister Deb Matthews says it's another example of Mazza's abuse of public trust, and noted that Ornge now has strict rules about expenses and posts them online.

Mazza's expenses were requested by a Liberal member of the all-party committee that was looking into Ornge, but was shut down when Premier Dalton McGuinty prorogued the legislature in October.
