One dead after small plane crashes near Brantford, Ont., airport

BRANTFORD, Ont. — Ontario Provincial Police say one person has died after a small plane crash near Brantford Municipal Airport.

OPP say they were called to a property east of the airport Monday night.

They say one person was taken to hospital and pronounced dead.

Police say the Transportation Safety Board of Canada is heading to the site of the crash.
