Becker Avionics GmbH names Terschlusen to new role

Becker Avionics GmbH, has announced Thomas Terschlusen has accepted the position of director of sales and marketing.  In this role, he is responsible for leading Becker's European-based sales and marketing teams and for coordinating commercial activities with Becker Avionics Group companies worldwide. He most recently held the position of air traffic management product line and key account manager for the Becker Avionics Group.

Terschlusen has 13 years of professional experience in aerospace and airspace operations management, covering the domains of international and national aviation regulations.  He possesses technical expertise in critical systems and military technologies, including airborne avionics and electronic warfare systems, radars and ATM voice communication systems.
 
Prior to joining Becker, Terschlusen served for 10 years as an officer in the French Air Force in the field of air operations management and took part in various assignments and operations in France and abroad.  Terschlusen served as an air traffic controller and tactical mission controller in several radar stations and was then involved in the deployment and validation of command and control, surveillance and voice communication systems.
 
Terschlusen graduated from the French Air Force School of ATM and Air Defence Technologies. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in international business languages and a private pilot license.
 
Becker Avionics will showcase their innovative products during the Aero Friedrichshafen show held at the MESSE in Friedrichshafen, Germany, April 20-23.  Becker invites all attendees to visit Becker Avionics’ Stand A6-400 during the event and meet Thomas Terschlusen.
