Porter Airlines introduces VIPorter frequent flyer program

June 3, 2008 /CNW/ - Porter Airlines today announced its frequent flyer program, 
VIPorter, as the latest benefit for its passengers. Starting June 9, all registered Porter
customers will begin earning VIPorter Points each time they fly Porter. Points
collected can be used to redeemcomplimentary travel on Porter Airlines after as few as
five one-way flights. The VIPorter frequent flyer program is distinguished by its simplicity
in accumulating and redeeming points. There are no blackout periods and seats are
allocated for VIPorter redemption up to a total of 10 per cent system capacity.
Redeemed flights include complimentary seat selection and convenientchange options.
"VIPorter broadens Porter's premium offering and provides travellers withrealistic,
attainable rewards," said Don Carty, chairman of Porter Airlines."Porter's approach to
our frequent flyer program, much like our daily serviceoffering, will be a breath of fresh
air in an industry bogged down in overlycomplicated reward and redemption systems."



A simple earning and redemption structure makes it easy to benefit fromthe VIPorter
program. After earning 7500 VIPorter Points, passengers mayredeem their points for a
complimentary one-way flight anywhere PorterAirlines flies. Porter's three fare classes
earn points at different levels, with 10-pack Porter Passes and group bookings also
eligible for points.
