Pratt & Whitney Canada appoints Altenrhein

May 20, 2009 – Geneva, Switzerland – Pratt & Whitney Canada Customer Service Centre Europe GmbH, has appointed Altenrhein Aviation Ltd, located at St.Gallen-Altenrhein Airport (Switzerland), as a Recognized Maintenance Facility to provide maintenance support for PT6A, JT15D and PW300 series engines.

Customer Service Centre Europe GmbH, a joint-venture between Pratt
& Whitney Canada (P&WC) and MTU Aero Engines, has appointed
Altenrhein Aviation Ltd, located at St.Gallen-Altenrhein Airport
(Switzerland), as a Recognized Maintenance Facility to provide
maintenance support for PT6A, JT15D and PW300 series engines.

"This agreement with Altenrhein Aviation Ltd underscores the growing presence of our Recognized Maintenance Facilities in Europe and elsewhere in the world," said Geoffrey Corbeil, General Manager of P&WC CSC Europe GmbH. "This initiative complements P&WC's support structure in Europe, namely our parts distribution centre located in Amsterdam and the Mobile Repair Team rapid dispatch.

Altenrhein Aviation Ltd is an EASA Part-145 Aircraft Maintenance Facility, supporting a wide range of general aviation, business and regional aircraft.
