“With the introduction of the SCc, Safe Flight continues to build upon our rich history of offering unparalleled leading edge Angle of Attack technology with an intuitive pilot visual display and audio alert.  Whether using the system in everyday circumstances or as a training aid in a flight school, the SCc delivers both safety and performance,” according to Paul Quaintance the company’s Vice President of Sales & Marketing.

In addition to Low Airspeed Awareness, the SCc provides the pilot with AoA-based guidance for a variety of high-lift operational conditions such as: normal and short-field takeoff, climb, wind-adjusted AoA cruise speed for maximum range and maximum endurance.

The SCc Lift Transducer precisely measures the wing’s leading edge stagnation point and flow field.  This makes the AoA a precise measurement regardless of aircraft weight, wing loading, or center of gravity.  The Indexer Computer uses an LED-lit display, making it easy to read in all lighting conditions and features a pilot settable Reference Marker for setting AoA targets for flight.
