Scott Group to debut Express II at NBAA

Building off the overwhelming success of Express and its expertise in the private aviation market, Scott Group has gathered a palette of 20 new classic neutral colors and colorways designed specifically for the highly time-sensitive refurbishment sector. Express II is designed to offer fresh, updated colors that will complement any jet interior.
While custom carpet production and delivery can take several months, Express II features an order-to-delivery turnaround time that is a fraction of that. The Scott Group will manufacture to the exact size and yardage of customer specifications. Produced entirely in the United States, Express II carpets fit perfectly with the fabrics, leathers and wood finishes used in today’s cabin interiors.
“To develop Express II, our designers looked at a variety of aviation trends and talked with a variety of customers to ensure that our color palette would be a natural accompaniment to the cabin,” said Rich Ruggeri, vice president at Scott Group Custom Carpets. “The result is an updated look tailored to the specific needs and time constraints of the refurbished market, allowing designers to select a carpet that will be beautiful, durable and ready when they are.”
In addition to being a new favorite of designers, Express II is a perfect option for pilots and maintenance crews who have the task of keeping the cabin looking fresh between flights. Additionally, the quick turnaround on delivery times of the Express II allows interior updates to take place during regularly scheduled maintenance and safety checks, ensuring the aircraft will not be out of service for an extended period.
All Express II products feature 100 percent New Zealand wool and are made by Scott Group artisans at its design and production facility in Grand Rapids, Mich. All Scott Group products are durable and easy to maintain.
